Mumbai to Pune Taxi

To reach Pune from Mumbai, there are now two popular routes. Both the routes will present you with captivating sceneries that you can enjoy thoroughly in our comfortable taxi. 

The common route from Mumbai to Pune is through Mumbai-Pune Expressway. It will take you around 3 hours to reach Pune via cab. On this route, you will cross many scenic destinations like Panvel, Rasayani, Khandala, Lonavala, Devghar, Urse and Hinjawadi. All these destinations have many amazing tourist attractions that you can stop and explore. Some of these are Duke’s Nose and Mahadeva Temple in Khandala, Lohagad Fort, Tikona Fort, Tung Fort, Bushi Dam in Lonavala, Pawna Lake in Maval and Visapur Fort.

You can also travel via NH 48 for your Mumbai to Pune road trip. This route easily requires 4 hours of driving. The Mumbai-Pune route covers Panvel, Khalapur, Khopoli, Lonavala, Kamshet and Pimpri-Chinchwad.

Shaniwar Wada

The headquarter of Peshwas, Shaniwar Wada was constructed by Bajirao I in 1730. It was their main place of residence until 1818. This majestic fort with 13 storeys, has many interesting sections. It has massive entrances, while inside the fort you will find a fountain, Diwan Khana, Ganesh Mahal, Rang Mahal, Aarsa Mahal and Hasti Dant Mahal. 

Aga Khan Palace

A grand place with an area of 19 acres, Aga Khan Palace holds great historical significance. It was the place where British rulers had jailed Mahatma Gandhi, Kasturba Gandhi and Mahadeobhai Desai during the Quit India Movement. You will also see marble memorial of Kasturba Gandhi and Mahadeobhai in this palace. 

Sinhagad Fort

25 km from Pune city, in the village Donaje, this fort stands atop a hill. It is located at a height of 1290 metres above sea level, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. This fort has immense historical significance as well. It was here, Tanaji Malusare, a brave general of Shivaji Maharaj had defeated Britishers alone in a battle. 

Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganapati temple

Built in 1893, it has been a prominent temple of Pune, which is visited by almost everyone. This temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesha. The idol of Lord is huge with a height of 2.2 metres and a width of 1 metres. The idol in this temple is said to wear more than 40 kgs of gold ornaments. 

Lal Mahal

The Red palace of Pune was once a residence of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. This place was initially built in 1630 AD by Shri Shahaji Bhosale for his wife and son. The current structure of the Lal Mahal is the renovated version of the original palace, which slowly went into ruins.
