Mumbai to Nashik Taxi

For a Mumbai to Nashik road trip, there are two common routes.

The shortest route to reach Nashik is around 166 km long and goes via NH 160. On this route you have to travel for around 4 hours. Starting at Mumbai, it goes via Thane, Kalyan, Shahapur, Kasara, Igatpuri, Vilholi and then Nashik.

Kalaram Temple

Located in Panchavati, this ancient temple was built in 1792 by Sardar Rangarao Odhekar. The idol of Lord Rama is black in this temple. It is believed that the statues were found in the River Godavari.

Kapileshwar Temple, which is another ancient temple of Nashik is located nearby. 

Sula Vineyard

Nashik has the largest vineyard of India. Sula is a known brand as well. Here you can go for wine-themed events, luxury stay at its resort and vineyard tours. It is spread over 160 acres of land.

Sita Gufa

This ancient natural caves has high religious significance. It is believed to be the place from where Goddess Sita was kidnapped by demon king Ravana. There is a narrow staircase that leads you inside the caves.

Panchvati
