Mumbai to Shirdi Taxi

To reach Shirdi from Mumbai, you can opt from various different routes. Whichever route you choose, you will have a memorable journey in our chauffeured taxi. 

The shortest Mumbai-Shirdi route is 240 km long. The route goes via Samruddhi Mahamarg or Nagpur-Mumbai Expressway. It will take around 5 hours and 15 minutes of driving to reach Shirdi through this way. 

Another route is via NH 60, which is around 291 km long. It will take you about 6 hours and 30 minutes of time. 
There is also a Mumbai-Shirdi route via Ghoti-Shirdi Road and NH 160. On this route, you will travel via Dombivali,Vihigaon, Igatpuri, Pathare before reaching Shirdi. You can also travel via NH 160, which goes through Thane, Dombivali, Saralgaon and Alephata.

Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Temple

No trip to Shirdi is complete without visiting the Sai Baba Temple. Dedicated to one of the most revered saints of this world, this temple welcomes close to 30,000 devotees every day, which can reach up to a lakh on special occasions. Seek blessing at the temple from 4 AM to 11 PM. 

Gurusthan

With a literal meaning of “seat of the teacher”, Gurusthan is believed to be the place where Sai Baba first appeared as a 16 years old boy. A neem tree is located in this place, where Sai Baba used to sit. At present you will find a portrait of Sai Baba with Shivlinga and Nandi in front.

Shani Shingnapur

Another place that you can visit on your Shirdi trip is the Shani Shingnapur temple, located around 70 km from the town. This temple is known for the miraculous powers of the Lord Shani. This temple doesn’t have a roof or walls. A swayambhu idol is kept in the open sky. It is a black stone with a height of 5.5 feet, which is bathed with mustard oil.

Lendi Baugh

Not only religiously important, it is a quaint garden to relax amid nature. This garden had a neem tree under which Sai Baba used to sit. He also used to water the plants here. At the entrance you will also find samadhis of Abdul Baba, Tatya Kote Patil, Bhau Maharaj Kumbhar and Nanavalli, who were the great devotees of Sai Baba.

Dwarkamai

Earlier an old mosque building, Dwarkamai was later used by Sai Baba to heal people, receive them and solve their problems. It was the place where he lived until the end of his mortal life. This structure has two levels. The highlight of this place is the oil painting of Sai Baba and a rock on which he used to sit. 

Other places to visit in Shirdi are Hanuman Mandir also known as Maruti Mandir, Jangli Maharaj Ashram, Khandoba Mandir, House of Laxmibai Shinde, Baba Chavadi, Abdul Baba Cottage and the Dixit Wada Museum.

After a heartfelt darshan at the temple, you can go for an immersive experience of shopping. At the local markets, you will find different figurines of Sai Baba and other deities, rosaries, portraits and keychains to take back home.
